Introduction to DSIP

Delta sleep-inducing peptide is a naturally occurring peptide initially discovered during investigations into sleep neurobiology. Identified within rat brain tissue during slow-wave sleep, DSIP was named for its observed sleep-promoting effects in animal studies.
